§ 28. Explosives and combustibles; exhibition of fireworks; discharge of firearms; bonfires.

  • The council is empowered to direct the location of all buildings for the storing of explosives or combustible substances; to regulate the sale and use of gunpowder, nitroglycerine, dynamite, fireworks, kerosene, oil, gasoline or other combustible material; to regulate the exhibition of fireworks, the discharge of firearms and the making of bonfires in the streets and yards of the city.
